Key Responsibilities Program Development and Leadership: Develop and maintain administrative programs that support operation and maintenance, providing guidance to procedure developers to ensure consistent implementation. Procedure Writing and Review: Develop high-quality administrative and operating procedures for nuclear power plants, using software-based support tools to create electronic procedures and workflows. Team Leadership and Guidance: Coordinate activities and provide guidance to a team of geographically diverse procedure writers and program owners, ensuring the use of established industry practices and standards. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure administrative compliance with company standards, NRC regulations, INPO accreditation criteria, and other codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline nuclear plant programs and develop innovative solutions to improve processes and procedures. Collaboration and Communication: Engage with industry peers, 3rd party vendors, NEI, and other organizations to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in procedure development and nuclear operations. Training and Mentoring: Provide regular training and mentoring to company personnel on processes and standards associated with developing and revising site administrative and operating procedures. Essential Qualifications and Skills Commercial Nuclear Experience: 10 years of commercial nuclear power plant operator, maintenance, or engineering experience. Procedure Writing Experience: 5 years of experience writing nuclear power plant operations, maintenance, or engineering procedures, with 2 years of experience writing nuclear power plant administrative program procedures. Leadership Experience: 2 years of experience as a team lead, supervisor, or manager. Nuclear Knowledge: High level of knowledge of nuclear power plant systems and terminology. Technical Writing and Communication: Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to procedural excellence. Software Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience using computer-based procedures or other software-based procedure tools. Preferred Qualifications Regulatory Experience: Experience with interpreting relevant nuclear information and standards to maintain strict procedural and regulatory compliance. Innovative Problem-Solving: Ability to develop innovative solutions with minimal supervision, demonstrating a self-starter mentality. Teamwork and Collaboration: High degree of trust and integrity, with the ability to communicate openly and display respect for others, fostering a collaborative team environment.
