**Job Summary**
The Non-Clinical Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for processing, updating, and maintaining electronic and physical medical documentation in accordance with Army, DoD, HIPAA, and cybersecurity regulations. This critical role requires a high level of attention to detail, data accuracy, and security. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of medical readiness reports and other documentation.
**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**
* Enter and update medical documentation in careerzynith databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with DoD and Army medical readiness documentation standards.
* Perform quality assurance checks on medical records and case files to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Assist in preparing and formatting medical readiness reports, including data analysis and visualization.
* Collaborate with the Non-Clinical Case Management Team to ensure seamless data entry and documentation processes.
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical data securely, adhering to HIPAA and cybersecurity regulations.
**Skills and Qualifications**
* Proficiency in DoD medical systems, including MEDPROS, MODS, MEDCHART, and PRT.
* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, with a focus on quality and precision.
* Ability to handle sensitive medical data securely, adhering to HIPAA and cybersecurity regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data entry and documentation issues.
**Education and Experience**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, data management) preferred.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry and documentation, preferably in a healthcare or military setting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Access.
* Familiarity with DoD medical systems and regulations a plus.

**Work Environment**
* Primary work location: Raper Armory, Cheyenne, WY.
* Hybrid work environment: Limited telework may be approved.
* This position requires working one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday) to support WYARNG drill events.
**Physical Demands**
* Extended periods of computer-based data entry and documentation processing.
**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
* Part-time, 20 hours per week, with potential weekend support as required.
**Travel Requirements**
* Regular commute to primary work location is not considered travel.
* Contract employees may be required to travel to execute any missions to support or augment the WYARNG consistent with all services described.
**Clearance/License Requirements**
* Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility required.
* Favorable background check per Army Directive 2014-05.
