**Responsibilities**
As a Medical Records Transcriptionist and Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
* Transcribing radiology reports from dictated recordings and canned reports, including mammograms, ultrasounds, MRI, and other imaging modalities.
* Updating patient records with breast density, follow-up dates, surgical follow-ups, and physical charts.
* Reviewing and editing drafts for clarity, accuracy, and grammar, adhering to departmental and industry standards.
* Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to clarify dictation and ensure completeness of reports.
* Maintaining confidentiality and complying with all legal and ethical standards related to patient information and medical records.
* Prioritizing and managing workload effectively to meet transcription deadlines and turnaround times.
* Staying updated with medical terminology and advancements in radiology to enhance transcription accuracy.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
