**Key Responsibilities**
As a Medical Billing Data Entry Analyst I, you'll be responsible for:
* Accurately entering line item details of medical bills into our database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management.
* Reviewing and validating patient and provider information, including dates of service, bill amounts, and itemized details to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Utilizing quality control tools to maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy.
* Meeting daily production standards and goals, while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
* Ensuring HIPAA compliance in all communications, protecting sensitive patient information and maintaining confidentiality.
* Assisting in training new team members as needed, sharing your expertise and knowledge to ensure seamless onboarding.
* Providing general support and taking on additional duties as assigned, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability.
**What We're Looking For**
To succeed as a Medical Billing Data Entry Analyst I, you'll need:
* A typing speed of 40-60 words per minute, with the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in data entry.
* Proficiency with alpha and 10-key keystrokes, achieving 10,000 keystrokes per hour with an accuracy rate of 95% or more.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, with the ability to navigate and utilize these tools effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
* Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
* Consistent punctuality and attendance, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
**Education & Experience**
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
