**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Medical Billing Customer Support Specialist to join our careerzynith team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for new customers, providing support and processing new orders, responding to questions, resolving issues, and ensuring patient, referral, and employee satisfaction. You will work extensively with our proprietary eIntake system, maintaining accuracy and quality control throughout patient contact and data input.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide exceptional support to patients, referral sources, and employees, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processing of patient care and third-party reimbursement.
- Process new orders, respond to questions, resolve issues, and ensure patient, referral, and employee satisfaction.
- Work extensively with our proprietary eIntake system, maintaining accuracy and quality control throughout patient contact and data input.
- Collect co-pays and deductible amounts, conduct insurance verification and eligibility for services/products, and obtain authorization and qualification documentation.
- Prepare complete and accurate files for the Billing Department, process new orders, and respond to questions and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Provide education to referral sources, patients, and employees on qualifications for service and third-party billing, and provide product/service information by answering questions and offering assistance.
- Conduct patient satisfaction calls and act as a patient advocate to resolve questions or concerns.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations, and FDA/DOT and JCAHO guidelines.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current products and services offered by careerzynith and all applicable governmental regulations.

**Essential Qualifications**

- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- One year of related work experience, preferred.
- Experience with medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement, preferred.
- Experience in the medical field and administrative record management, preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred.
- Certification in medical billing or a related field, preferred.

- Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written.
- Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual).
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and caution when handling sensitive information.

- Work independently and as part of a team.

**Physical Demands**

- Lift and carry office equipment at times.
- Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking, and listening.
- Requires close vision to small print on a computer and/or tablet and paperwork.
