Experienced Math Teacher/Tutor for Remote Math Instruction and Student Mentorship

Our instructors work closely with students to create customized learning plans, provide individualized instruction, and assist with homework completion. Key Responsibilities Teach students in grades K-12 using Mathnasium's proprietary curriculum and teaching methods Develop and implement customized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student Assist students with homework completion and provide guidance on math-related topics Conduct assessments to identify areas where students need extra support or review Collaborate with other instructors to share best practices and stay updated on curriculum developments Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with industry trends Essential Qualifications Strong math proficiency up to Algebra (proficiency through Geometry and Calculus is a plus) Exceptional score on Mathnasium's Math Literacy exam (covering material from 2nd grade and up) Availability to work at least 2 weekday shifts (afternoons after 3 pm) Clear record on state and national background checks Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in teaching or tutoring math Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with students of varying skill levels and learning styles Familiarity with Mathnasium's curriculum and teaching methods (or willingness to learn) Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Math Teacher/Tutor at Mathnasium, you'll need to possess a combination of technical, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
