As a Math Instructor/Tutor at Mathnasium of Studio City, you'll have the opportunity to: Transform the lives of 2nd-12th grade students and help them develop a lifelong love of math Work in a flexible and rewarding part-time role with consistent hours after school and on weekends Collaborate with a supportive team of educators and professionals Enjoy opportunities for career growth and professional development Receive comprehensive training on our teaching methodologies and curriculum Job Responsibilities As a Math Instructor/Tutor, your primary responsibilities will include: Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices Working collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: A passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Eagerness to learn and be trained on our teaching methodologies and curriculum Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I The ability to balance various ongoing tasks and responsibilities All applicants will be required to: Take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency Provide work authorization Pass a background check What We Offer As a valued member of our team, you can expect: A competitive salary range of $16.5 - $18 per hour Consistent and flexible part-time hours after school and on weekends Ongoing training and professional development opportunities A supportive and collaborative work environment The opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students Career Growth and Learning Benefits At Mathnasium of Studio City, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
