About the Role We're looking for dynamic and dedicated educators to fill several part-time teacher/tutor positions at Springfield Area Public Schools Middle Schools. As a Huntington Learning Center teacher/tutor, you'll play a vital role in implementing our instructional programs, working closely with our Lead Teacher and Program Director to drive student success. Key Responsibilities Utilize Huntington Learning Center's proven instructional procedures and curriculum to deliver high-quality education to middle school students. Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs and achieve program goals. Follow school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Supervise students at all times, including escorting them safely to and from the classroom. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress. Administer computerized baseline tests at established intervals to assess student progress. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Prior teaching experience, preferably in Math and ELA. A valid teaching certificate, although not required, is highly preferred. Basic computer operating knowledge to effectively utilize our educational software and tools. A clear background check and employment eligibility verification. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate: Experience working with middle school students. A proven track record of improving student outcomes in Math and ELA. Knowledge of Huntington Learning Center's teaching methods and curriculum.
