**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Manager State & Higher Education to join our Southwest Business Department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for coaching and professionally developing our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. You'll also play a critical role in increasing sales, establishing formal partnerships, and broadening awareness of our corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales and revenue growth targets
* Identify and develop strategic partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts to increase sales and revenue
* Develop and implement sales strategies to broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
* Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and higher education institutions
* Identify and develop training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales organization
* Collaborate with the Manager State & Higher Education team to develop and implement business strategies
**Essential Qualifications**
* 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
* Proven track record of success in sales and revenue growth
* Strong understanding of the managed travel industry and its key players
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to travel for training, meetings, and conferences (approximately 10-20% of the time)

* Experience in the airline or travel industry

* Experience with CRM software and data analysis tools
