**Key Responsibilities**
As a Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be responsible for:
* Coaching and developing a team of Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management
* Executing strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts
* Increasing sales and establishing formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
* Broadening awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to SLED managed travel accounts
* Identifying, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
* Collaborating with fellow Leaders to drive business growth and innovation
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in the travel industry
* Proven track record of driving business growth and increasing sales
* Excellent coaching and development skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to execute on complex projects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
* U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. (no current or future work authorization sponsorship available)
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
* Experience working in the SLED managed travel industry
* Knowledge of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services
* Experience with sales and account management
* Strong analytical and data-driven skills, with the ability to measure and evaluate business performance
