As a key partner to the Finance, Technology, Strategy, and Insights teams, this specialist will play a crucial role in promoting new talent opportunities, enhancing employee connections, and developing rotation programs to drive engagement across the organization. Reporting to the Sr Manager, Finance Engagement, the successful candidate will contribute to a wide range of people-enabled initiatives that will help shape the future of finance at Workwarp. About the Team and the Role The Finance Engagement team is positioned to help the enterprise navigate the constantly evolving finance landscape. As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering strategic learning initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and growth, enabling employees to develop the skills and competencies required to excel in their roles. Key Responsibilities Mentor Program Planning and Support : Serve as the primary point-of-contact for the Finance, Tech, Strategy, and Insights Mentor Program, collaborating with cross-functional leaders to engage participants and drive continuous improvement. Training and Development : Assist with the programmatic aspects of the Accounting & Finance Rotation Program (AFRP), including providing orientation for incoming analysts, organizing monthly professional development speakers and content, and planning in-person events. Career Counseling and Technical Training : Plan and facilitate career counseling, as well as technical and soft skill training sessions for the Enterprise Financial Services (EFS) organization. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition : Partner with campus recruitment and talent acquisition to provide comprehensive recruiting services for the AFRP, identifying top talent from targeted schools and championing the Workwarp brand. Communication and Project Management : Prepare and distribute mentor program marketing emails, newsletters, and other communications, managing participant distribution lists and maintaining resources for the EFS website. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will require: 3+ years of experience in finance, learning and development, recruitment, or project management, with a proven track record of leading project work and driving results. Excellent communication skills , including written, verbal, facilitation, and interpersonal communication, with the ability to effectively interface with high-level executives, clients, business associates, and employees. Strong organizational and follow-through skills , with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively problem-solve using sound judgment and making real-time strategic decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , primarily Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Strong knowledge of Workwarp's businesses, policies, and procedures , with experience working in a similar organization or industry. Experience with marketing and communications platforms , such as WordPress, SharePoint, Confluence, and Adobe Dreamweaver, with the ability to create engaging content and materials. Familiarity with SAP, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, R, and Workday , with the ability to analyze data and provide strategic insights. Education and Compensation A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. The hiring range for this position is $77,900.00-$95,100.00 per year, with the base pay taking into account internal equity and varying depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
