We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead DevOps and Delivery Management professional to join our team, working remotely at a competitive rate of $30 per hour. Job Overview In this critical role, you will be part of the Examination and Conduct Change group, responsible for planning, creating, and conveying programming applications that enable business clients with more productive workflows and advanced analysis. As a Product Management team, we are product owners, Solution Architects, QA specialists, and delivery leads who set the vision of the products we build and guide the entire product lifecycle. We work closely with our stakeholders to identify and prioritize value, coordinating work across IT, design, data engineering, data science, BI, and application development. Key Responsibilities Drive the delivery of complex features within the Underwriting Stage, a software application that serves financial clients from our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) specialty unit. Work on various delivery activities for multiple applications, with a primary focus on ensuring that Underwriting Change Products are delivered with high quality and on time. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, design, data engineering, data science, and application development to identify and prioritize value. Ensure that critical requirements and features are delivered into production to support business underwriting and other financial processes, having a significant impact on end-users of these applications and the quality of service we provide to our internal clients. Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong and diverse skill set, including: Proven history with at least 10 years of experience in DevOps data platform development, preferably in a senior or lead capacity. Experience working in public cloud environments, GCP (preferred)/Azure/AWS, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Expertise in infrastructure as code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automating resource provisioning and configuration. Hands-on experience with Skillvoraq/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or similar. Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex DevOps platform issues and provide effective solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the required qualifications, we are looking for candidates with: Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Cloud Logging Solutions) to ensure application performance and system health. Understanding of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks, and secure configuration practices. Leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding junior engineers, is a plus. Education We require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
