You'll design and deliver lesson plans that promote physical fitness, creativity, and self-expression, while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. If you're passionate about teaching, have a flair for dance, and enjoy working with children, we'd love to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities** * Construct and implement weekly/monthly educational/fitness lesson plans following our guidelines * Engage in fitness/educational-based activities and skills, demonstrating and participating in the activity or skills being taught * Prepare and set up for class, transferring kids to and from programming as needed * Assist with Kids programming and classes when needed, promoting all Kids programming and classes to increase participation * Clean up and restock after each class, ensuring a safe and organized environment for all participants **Position Requirements** * High School Diploma or GED * 6+ months of teaching children aged 3-11 in similar programs or activities * Ability to demonstrate and participate in the activity or skills being taught * Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work * First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire * Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 30 lbs. **Preferred Requirements** * Class-specific certification or license * 2 years of experience in fitness/educational area * Certification or equivalent education experience in Early Childhood Development if working with children under the age of 6 **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children and parents * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lesson plans * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service * Physical stamina to participate in dance activities and engage with children for extended periods **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Life Time, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills and careers.
