**About the Role**

As an IT Operations Manager at careerzynith, you will play a critical role in managing local and/or remote resources to define the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience. You will help the team develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement, and set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage local and/or remote resources to define the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
* Help the team develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
* Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
* Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
* Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
* Analyze and resolve complex technical and business problems with ingenuity and simplicity

**Essential Qualifications:**

* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
* 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
* Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
* Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience with IT service management frameworks and tools (e.g. ITIL, ServiceNow)
* Strong understanding of cloud computing and AWS services
* Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
