Job Overview As an IT Business Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing IT administration, project management, and support to ensure the functional sustainability of our basic infrastructure that supports our airport communication spaces. You will work closely with our IT Offices Group to manage and maintain our server farm and remote communication room equipment, ensuring that our systems are running efficiently and effectively. Your expertise in data entry, project management, and IT administration will be essential in supporting our team and contributing to the success of our organization. Key Responsibilities Provide IT administration, project management, and support to ensure the functional sustainability of our basic infrastructure that supports our airport communication spaces Manage and maintain our server farm and remote communication room equipment, including IT labs, data centers, and far-off communication rooms Develop and implement departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate norms and regulations Project management of server farm and remote communication room standards capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements Selection of IT and basic facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, getting best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments Support IT Offices campus fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of our airport and campus facilities underground fiber ring Ensure compliance with all governing corporate standards and regulations Provide proactive and break-fix support for alert/ticket remediation related to facilities, remote communication rooms, lab, and server farm equipment Operational sustainability of airport basic climate system Develop Plan Standards for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, air conditioning, Generators, and Fire Life and Safety (FLS) systems Remote coordination of airport basic infrastructure support and break-fix activities Review/Store Support Records, ensuring discrepancies are remediated Provide remote Incident Management resolution to airport basic equipment Provide remote installation, configuration, and operational support Maintain strict adherence to change control activities Balance multiple priorities within established time constraints Flexibility to support an operation with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call work requirements Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree and a strong background in IT, with experience in data entry, project management, and IT administration. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with supervisors, vendors, and peers. You should also have knowledge of server farm technology and basic facilities systems, as well as experience with project management, capital budgeting, and vendor management. Preferred Qualifications While not required, we prefer candidates with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in IT project management within a high-availability communication room or data center operating environment. You should also have experience with IT service management, ITIL, and Agile methodologies, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
