Job Overview In this role, you will be the face of blithequark, promoting our travel products to direct consumers through web chat and phone interactions. Your primary goal will be to identify travel needs, present our products, and make personalized recommendations to meet and exceed customer expectations. This is a full-time, remote position based on the East Coast, offering a unique blend of flexibility and structure. As an International WebChat Outbound Sales Representative, you will be working on a late night/early morning shift, with schedules that may include weekends and split shifts, ensuring that our customers receive the best service at all times. Key Responsibilities Promote sales to direct consumers by initiating web chats and calls, acting on leads, and presenting blithequark travel products to identify and meet customer needs. Establish and maintain high-quality customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service, building rapport, and following up with consumers to close sales and meet revenue goals. Build and maintain effective relationships with new and existing consumers, maintaining a prospect list/contact database to identify client travel trends and proactively promote blithequark products. Acquire in-depth knowledge of the travel industry and blithequark products to articulate features, benefits, pricing, and make recommendations on promotions, itineraries, and auxiliary products. Participate in daily team meetings, sales training, and department-approved mass email campaigns to ensure the use of appropriate sales techniques and accurate information communication. Perform other job-related functions as assigned to contribute to the team's success and blithequark's growth. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Minimum one year of sales experience, with 2 years of sales experience preferred, and cruise sales experience being a plus. Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with direct guests and internally. A strong working knowledge of the travel industry, with the ability to learn and maintain knowledge of blithequark's products and services. The ability to multi-task and work in a high-energy, goal/quota-driven sales environment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications will make your application stand out: Previous experience in the travel industry, particularly in cruise sales. Fluency in languages other than English. Experience with live chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
