Interior Designer for Concept Development, Layout Visualisation & Mood Boards (Ad-hoc Collaboration)
I’m a Feng Shui consultant looking to collaborate with an experienced interior designer who can support occasional projects involving concept development, layout visualisation and mood boards.
My work sits at the intersection of interior design and Feng Shui, so I’m particularly interested in someone with a strong understanding of spatial composition, materiality and atmosphere.
The collaboration would be ad-hoc, supporting individual projects when needed.
Typical tasks might include:
• Translating rough floor plans or sketches into clear layout visualisations
• Developing refined mood boards
• Creating simple renderings or spatial studies
• Helping present design concepts in a clear and elegant way
This is not a full-time role, but a flexible collaboration for specific projects.
What I’m looking for
• Solid experience in interior design or interior architecture
• Strong eye for composition, proportion and materials
• Ability to translate ideas into clear visual concepts
• Comfortable working from conceptual briefs rather than highly detailed instructions
• Reliable and responsive
Software
You may use your preferred tools (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino, 3D Planner, Photoshop, etc.), as long as the final visuals are clear and presentation-ready.
Context
My clients are based all over the world, and their projects vary widely, from small studio workspaces to entire homes, and from very design-aware clients to complete beginners.
Because of this, I’m looking for someone who can adapt their approach, sometimes developing more refined visual concepts, and other times helping translate ideas into clear, accessible visuals that clients can easily understand.
My work often involves analysing spaces through both design and Feng Shui principles, so sensitivity to spatial flow and balance is important.
I provide the spatial analysis and overall direction for each project, and I’m looking for a designer who can help translate those ideas into clear, visually compelling concepts.
