Job Overview
In this critical role, you will be responsible for handling property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and billing inquiries via telephone, providing customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium. Your expertise in P&C insurance will enable you to provide efficient and professional customer service, identify opportunities to apply discounts, and process changes to policies. As a representative of arenaflex, you will be the face of our company, and your excellent communication skills and customer-centric approach will be essential in building trust and loyalty with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Contact policyholders to review policies prior to renewal, updating policies to enhance retention and better meet customer needs
Provide quotes on endorsements, counsel policyholders on coverage options, and make recommendations to ensure sufficient protection against risks
Receive and respond to calls and emails, documenting all activity in our system and utilizing knowledge of insurance industry and company policies and procedures
Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms, and act as a liaison between customers and insurance companies
Process changes to policies, follow up with companies to ensure timely processing, and review policy information to assist customers in filing claims
Recognize cross-sell opportunities and obtain quote information to drive business growth
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and contribute to the company's success


Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment
A Property and Casualty insurance license (required)
Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong knowledge of insurance industry principles, practices, and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge to provide expert guidance to customers
Proficiency in using computer systems, including EPIC, and ability to learn new technologies quickly
