Job Summary The Human Resource Office/Training Manager will be responsible for managing the daily administrative functions of the HR office, implementing the business plan for the area of responsibility, and ensuring compliance with company HR policies. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including human resources, logistics, and training. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and develop associates and leaders in the area of responsibility. Key Responsibilities Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates. Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads. Manage daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring/transfers, terminations, and payroll. Ensure compliance with company HR policies by reviewing and managing the accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents. Maintain quality and safety standards in the area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures. Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns and determine corrective action to take or make recommendations to resolve. Supervise and develop associates and leaders in the area of responsibility by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback. Manage and coordinate training for Distribution and/or Transportation associates, including new hire orientation, CBL modules, web-based training, and virtual classroom. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum qualifications: Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field and 1 year of supervisory experience. OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field. OR 2 years of Walmart Logistics management experience. OR 2 years of supervisory experience, including 1 year of experience managing human resource processes. OR 1 year of Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Human Resources, Microsoft Office, Supervising Associates, Training and Facilitation, Walmart Logistics Systems. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics. Professional HR (PHR) certification or Senior Professional HR (SPHR) certification. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to supervise and develop associates and leaders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
