We are committed to closing the achievement gap and ensuring that our students have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in college and beyond. **Job Description** As a High School World Language Teacher at KIPP New Jersey, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students. You will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and character development. Your role will include: * **Creating and Implementing Lesson Plans**: Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that meet the academic needs of our students. Work closely with the grade-level team to ensure that lesson plans are aligned with the academic curriculum. * **Teaching to Mastery**: Use data to responsively teach to mastery of academic skills. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure that all students meet the learning objectives. * **Classroom Management**: Reinforce a firm foundation for all classes and uphold classroom management techniques that promote a positive and productive learning environment. * **Collaboration and Communication**: Work closely with students, families, and colleagues to create an environment that is supportive of student progress.
