You'll work independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a remote team and work in a metrics/quota driven environment, with a competitive salary and attractive benefits package. **A Day in the Role** As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including: * Processing various medical documents, such as Independent Medical Reviews * Extracting data and entering it into our electronic database via Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word * Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion * Using critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information, etc. * Being comfortable and proficient using computers, spreadsheets, and having reliable internet * Working in a metrics/quota driven environment and being comfortable with customer service and client coordination over the phone * Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred, and candidates must have previous experience working in a metrics based environment **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need to have: * Reliable high-speed internet * Your own computer or laptop for use in this role (no Chromebooks) * At least 1 year of remote work experience * High School Diploma **Schedule** As a remote team member, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.
