Your primary responsibilities will include: * Processing medical documents, such as Independent Medical Reviews, and insurance intake forms * Extracting data from documents and entering it into the electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word * Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion * Utilizing critical thinking skills to determine next steps and reaching out to clients via phone to obtain missing information * Providing excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the electronic database **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * At least 1 year of remote work experience in data entry * Previous experience working in a high-volume, metrics-based environment * High School Diploma or equivalent * Reliable high-speed internet and a computer or laptop (no Chromebooks) * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word * Ability to work in a metrics/quota-driven environment * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims * Experience working in a metrics-based environment * Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software * Certification in medical coding or billing (e.g., CPC, CCS) **Schedule and Work Environment** This is a 100% remote contract role, and you will be expected to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST. You will need to have a dedicated workspace with minimal distractions and a reliable internet connection. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 per hour.
