Key Responsibilities: Field customer inquiries by finding innovative ways to respond to varying questions, issues, and concerns, utilizing your knowledge of healthcare services and medical terminology. Handle inbound calls from medical professionals, using medical terminology, to request and verify benefits, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Carefully respond to all customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a patient-centric approach. Work with confidential customer information, treating it sensitively and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism. Aim to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, resourceful, and committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Communicate appropriately and professionally with customers, medical professionals, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise communication. Provide support for Health Care Providers, addressing their concerns, and providing accurate information and guidance. Research benefit information as needed, utilizing your analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness. Handle situations that may require adaptation of response or extensive research, demonstrating your ability to think critically and navigate complex issues. Accurately document and maintain all interactions, ensuring that customer information is up-to-date and easily accessible. Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments, ensuring timely and efficient resolution. Requirements for Success: To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, demonstrating self-motivation, discipline, and strong time management skills. 6 months of customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving complex issues. Over 18 years of age, with a high school graduate or GED equivalent. Ability to type 25 wpm, with comfort using desktop computer systems and navigating Windows operating systems. Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and navigate complex issues. Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-Haves: While not essential, the following skills and qualifications will be highly valued: Previous experience in healthcare customer service or a related field, with knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare services. Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with a proven track record of success in a self-directed setting.
