Experienced Grant Writer Needed ASAP (Potential Long-Term Contract if Successful)

We're a fire detection technology startup seeking an experienced grant writer to BUILD OUR GRANT INFRASTRUCTURE, not write applications. Your job is NOT to write grants. Your job is to create the SYSTEM that allows non-experts to write grants. DELIVERABLES (in priority order): 1. GRANT TARGET DATABASE (Google Sheets) - 50-100 federal, state, local grants we qualify for - Columns: Grant name, agency, amount, deadline, eligibility criteria, win probability (your assessment), application complexity (1-5 scale) - Sorted by: highest ROI (win probability × award size ÷ application time) 2. GRANT DNA DOCUMENT (Google Doc) - Pre-written answers to every common grant question - Organized by topic: Company overview, problem/solution, technology, team, market, commercialization, budget justification, broader impacts - Each section: 3-4 length variants (100 words, 250 words, 500 words, 1000 words) - Written specifically for our brand based on our materials 3. APPLICATION TEMPLATES (3-5 documents) - Master template for: SBIR/STTR, State economic development, Pilot/deployment grants - Step-by-step instructions: "Question X → Use DNA section Y" - Checklist format: [ ] Adapted company overview [ ] Customized technical approach, etc. 4. REVIEWER SCORING RUBRIC GUIDE - What reviewers actually look for in each grant type - Common mistakes that kill applications - Red flags to avoid 5. TRAINING VIDEO - Record yourself walking through how to use all these materials - "Here's how someone with no grant experience fills out an SBIR application using this system" WHAT WE PROVIDE YOU: - Company overview, pitch deck - Technical documentation on our AI system - Team bios - Market research - Pilot site information - Customer testimonials YOUR SUCCESS METRIC: After using your materials, someone with ZERO grant experience should be able to complete 70% of any application by copy-pasting from the DNA document. REQUIREMENTS: - 10+ SBIR/STTR grants won (must show proof) - Experience with fire safety, AI/ML, or hardware startups - Can work fast (we need this in 2 weeks) TO APPLY: - Show us 2-3 grants you've won (redacted is fine) - Explain your process for creating reusable content Budget: $600-800 for everything based on experience.
