About the Role: Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist
In this exciting role, you'll be part of the Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division, where you'll play a vital part in promoting and selling air travel on arenaflex. Your exceptional customer service skills, combined with your knowledge of the air travel industry, will enable you to provide top-notch support to our customers, resolving their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex, ensuring that customers receive the best possible service and support
Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Answer inquiries regarding general travel information, providing clear and concise responses to customer queries
Resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner, using your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to find solutions that meet the needs of all parties involved
Communicate with customers over the phone, researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights, and providing updates on new rules, policies, and procedures that may affect their travel plans

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service, sales, or a related discipline
Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support to customers in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Native SABRE, or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
Ability to be resourceful and creative in resolving immediate problems, using your initiative and judgment to find solutions that meet the needs of our customers
Satisfactory attendance record, demonstrating your reliability and commitment to your role and the team


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in the air travel industry, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that our customers face
Advanced knowledge of customer service principles and practices, with a proven ability to provide exceptional support to customers in a variety of situations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease and efficiency
