About the Role: Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist
This exciting opportunity is part of the Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division at arenaflex. As a Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling air travel, resolving customer problems, and providing exceptional service to our clients. If you're a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for the air travel industry, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex, ensuring that customers receive the best possible experience
Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets in a timely and efficient manner
Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach
Communicate with customers over the phone, researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights, and providing updates on new rules, policies, and procedures that may affect them
Demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment


Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
Knowledge of Native SABRE or similar systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable in a dynamic environment
Satisfactory attendance and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service


Preferred Qualifications:
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

Previous experience in the air travel industry, with a strong understanding of government and corporate affairs
Advanced knowledge of customer service principles and practices, with a proven track record of resolving complex customer issues
Ability to speak multiple languages, with a strong understanding of cultural diversity and its impact on customer service
Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
