About the Role: Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist
In this critical role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling air travel on arenaflex, preparing itineraries, computing fares, issuing refunds, and resolving customer complaints in a mutually beneficial manner. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to effectively interact with customers over the phone, providing timely and accurate information about travel options, flight schedules, and company policies. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs Team, you will also communicate new rules, policies, and procedures to customers, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex, leveraging your knowledge of the industry and our services to meet customer needs
Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Answer inquiries regarding general travel information, resolving customer problems in a professional and courteous manner
Communicate with customers over the phone, researching passenger complaints, advising on cancelled or delayed flights, and providing timely updates
Communicate new rules, policies, and procedures to customers, ensuring they are informed and prepared for their travel
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues, leveraging your problem-solving skills and industry expertise


Qualifications and Skills:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that demonstrate your ability to provide exceptional customer service, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
Proven experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, preferably in the air travel industry
Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of Native SABRE or similar reservation systems
Ability to demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Satisfactory attendance record, with a commitment to reliability and punctuality

Advanced degree or certification in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or communications
Additional experience in the air travel industry, with a deep understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices
