Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-paced IT team. As a Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding the requirements of our clients, grasping the needs for team/space-specific systems, performing technical system and data analysis, and creating specifications that address both UI and data interface requirements. You will work closely with vendors on technical issues, provide input to technical designs, and assist in the implementation of SAP Ariba and Oracle PeopleSoft applications. Key Responsibilities Analyzes and communicates complex cross-functional business requirements and process flows. Performs gap analysis between as-is and to-be processes, making recommendations on areas for continuous process improvement. Executes and drives the development of technical specifications by collaborating with technical and non-technical teams, translating functional designs into technical plans, validating high-level plans, and inspecting low-level plans. Plans, develops, and executes testing protocols, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing, as driven by the requirements. Performs systems and data analysis to understand functional design requirements and determine how the system should function and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect results. Assists colleagues in developing and fostering the skills necessary to understand application concepts and tool suite. Manages, defines, drives, and executes the implementation of configurations across applications and interfaces on a case-by-case basis. Helps colleagues develop and foster the skills necessary to evoke and translate requirements into functional design. Identifies and resolves issues, often anticipating problems before they occur or before they escalate; develops and evaluates options and implements solutions. Creates and ensures adherence to the establishment of standards, best practices, services, and patterns. Essential Qualifications 2+ years of SAP Ariba experience. A minimum of 3 years of functional analysis or similar experience and commitment to applying relevant skills and work to meet expectations. Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and provide solutions effectively. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and effectively engage with individuals at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Solid work ethic, demonstrated attention to detail, and excellent time management skills. Demonstrated history of successful execution, delivery of projects, and working cross-functionally with business and IS teams. Prior experience in an Agile environment. Able to work independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience on SAP or other ERP implementation projects. 2-5 years of Costco business knowledge. Proficient in the use of Google products: email, spreadsheet, document, presentation. Working knowledge of ServiceNow (Carts+) Portfolio and Program Management module.
