Job Highlights Location: Remote (any US location) Start Date: Immediate openings available Compensation: Competitive salary ($80,000 - $100,000 per year) Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, employer-paid life insurance and LTD, paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, and more Responsibilities As a Residential Multi-State Title Reader, you will be responsible for: Reading, reviewing, and analyzing abstracts to determine vesting information and identifying any liens, judgments, and encumbrances affecting title to the property Reviewing documents such as contracts, deeds, mortgages, subordinations, probate, trust, organizational documents, easements, covenants and restrictions, divorce decrees, court records, and other necessary documents to clear title Examining covenants and restrictions and municipal searches to determine if they affect title and property use Plotting metes and bounds descriptions and having knowledge of surveys Completing curative requests for previous chain of title issues Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have: 10+ years of experience as a title reader Strong knowledge of title insurance and multi-state experience Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Great time management skills and ability to work in both team-oriented and self-directed environments Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information and maintain a high level of accountability Customer service-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of SoftPro Select a plus Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you must possess: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Kensington Vanguard National Land Services, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
