Job Summary
As a Delivery Driver with AutoZone, you'll play a critical role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of parts to our commercial customers. You'll be responsible for driving a company-provided delivery vehicle, loading and unloading parts, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
Provides WOW! Customer Service by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts to commercial customers
Drives a company-provided delivery vehicle to transport parts to commercial customers, including loading and unloading of parts
Picks up returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors
Maintains a safe driving and working environment, including adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
Assists do-it-yourself customers in the store between deliveries
Follows all company policies, procedures, dress code, and management direction, including fleet and safety policies
Handles cash and charge transactions per company policy
Maintains product knowledge and current promotions through AutoZone systems and information resources
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license
Ability to meet AutoZone's driver requirements
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and evenings
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a related field
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
Experience with customer service and sales
