We are currently seeking 30 highly skilled and motivated Remote Customer Service Representatives to join our team. Job Summary

We are looking for experienced customer service professionals to provide support to health plan members, providers, and their representatives. As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will work in a full-time, open-ended contract role, providing exceptional service to customers via phone and computer systems. If you have a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences, and have over one year of call center experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to health plan members, providers, and their representatives, answering inbound inquiries regarding health plan benefits and claims, eligibility, medical and other healthcare procedures, billing and payments, and other related topics.
• Conduct outbound and/or return calls to customers, as necessary, to resolve issues and provide assistance.
• Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues, providing clear and concise responses and documenting relevant information in computer systems.
• Communicate and partner with customers tactfully and empathetically to resolve issues, using clear language and translating healthcare-related jargon and complex processes into simple, step-by-step instructions.
• Handle and process customer complaints/grievances, applying conflict management skills to de-escalate potentially stressful situations.
• Meet performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, accuracy, quality, member satisfaction, and attendance.

Essential Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Empathy and conflict management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of healthcare-related terminology and processes.
• Previous experience with benefits, eligibility, and claims processing.
