Job Overview
As a Full-Time Remote Bookkeeper at Kimcox, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our clients by providing expert bookkeeping services, financial guidance, and support. Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including general journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and bank statement reconciliations
Apply strong accounting skills to prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports
Provide bookkeeping consultative services to clients, including QuickBooks Online support and other application support
Process payroll activities, including garnishments and payroll tax submissions
Assist in maintaining an accurate and intuitive filing system
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Promote firm growth by nurturing existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
Support management with onboarding new clients, including historical data conversions, accounting software migration, and other software application setup
Perform various administrative tasks, including archiving, client communications, and business organization assistance


Essential Qualifications

Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online accounting software
Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices and procedures
Accuracy and attention to detail, with a track record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to work non-traditional business hours when needed
Must pass a background check


Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience working in public bookkeeping or accounting, or a similar industry
Associate's degree with an emphasis in accounting, business, finance, or a related field
Professional licenses and software certifications, such as QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification
Willingness to become a Certified Bookkeeper or Certified Public Bookkeeper
