**Roles & Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for:
* Receiving, collecting, reviewing, and entering data into our computer system or tracking database with precision and accuracy
* Verifying the completeness and accuracy of all data recorded, and reporting any discrepancies or errors to supervisors
* Providing basic reports and serving as a resource for other staff members, offering guidance and support as needed
* Reading source documents and entering data in specific data fields accurately, with attention to detail and a focus on quality
* Collecting, compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy or completeness of data before it's entered
* Performing data integrity tasks, including locating and correcting data entry errors, or reporting them to supervisors
* Scanning or uploading documents as needed
* Maintaining logs of activities and completed work, and filing completed documents in appropriate locations or distributing them
* Providing data lists, spreadsheets, and reports as required
* Creating or modifying databases according to the needs of the department
* Providing direction or assistance to users of information regarding data requirements and status of paperwork
* Training other data entry employees as needed
* Performing other related duties as assigned
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A High School diploma or GED, with an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
* At least two years of experience in data entry or a related field
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels
* Proficiency in data entry software and systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement
