Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our Aetna Customer Support team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will work from home and provide exceptional support to our customers via inbound calls. You will answer questions about pharmacy benefits, medication coverage, and mail-order solutions, and provide solutions to help our customers better understand their coverage and options.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service via inbound calls, responding to questions about pharmacy benefits, medication coverage, and mail-order solutions
Help customers understand their coverage and options, and provide solutions to improve their healthcare experience
Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple calls and customers simultaneously
Utilize your skills and knowledge to resolve customer complaints and issues in a positive and productive manner
Adhere to HIPAA and regulatory compliance requirements
Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
1 year of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, or client care environment
Proficiency in Windows-based applications and ability to use computer software
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience
Ability to problem-solve in a positive and productive manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a patient and supportive manner
Reliability and consistency with scheduling standards
Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion, and express confidence and certainty
Strong customer service skills, including telephone etiquette and professionalism
Strong oral, written, and relational skills
