Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Account Manager to join our team at arenaflex. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing a assigned set of accounts, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional client service. This is a full-time, remote position that offers a unique entrepreneurial experience for a candidate who has a proven track record of winning new clients and driving business results. Key Responsibilities Client record and relationship management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, and identify opportunities to drive business growth and expansion. Account development: Drive new business opportunities across the verticals of RWE Clinical Trials, including patient enrollment, Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCT), HEOR, and epidemiological studies, and post-marketing studies. Sales and revenue growth: Achieve planned sales targets within assigned client accounts, and identify opportunities to increase revenue and drive business growth. Client account procedure and improvement: Develop and implement strategic account plans in partnership with the scientific research delivery teams, and drive client account procedure and improvement through consultative and proactive sales activities. Collaboration and teamwork: Work closely with sales operations, finance, and other internal support functions to drive and close business, and achieve sales approval targets. Proposal development and delivery: Lead and assist with delivering responses to proposal cycles, and coordinate Bid Guard strategy to ensure targeted bidding aligns with client goals. Client facing and problem-solving: Provide a collaborative client-facing, problem-solving environment with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and systems, with the vision of enhancing arenaflex's clinical trials market leadership. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as life sciences, business, or marketing. Proven experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, with a focus on the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Demonstrated history of creating mid-and senior-level business contacts, and driving business growth and expansion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and fully integrate with Operations, Finance, and Marketing, and follow up to grow relationships and business opportunities. A strong understanding of Clinical Trials, Decentralized Trials, and RWE trends, and the ability to identify and develop potential customers, make professional presentations, and handle the sales cycle through close. Experience collaborating with internal or external resources to develop strategies that meet office objectives within budget and established timelines. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree or MBA, with a focus on business, marketing, or a related field. Additional experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion. Strong understanding of sales automation systems and Microsoft Office programs, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
