About the Conveyance Designing Group The Conveyance Designing group at Netflix is responsible for building and maintaining Spinnaker, our continuous delivery platform. As a senior programmer in this group, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building new features to improving existing ones, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and refine the user experience for our continuous delivery platform. Key Responsibilities Build, optimize, and advance the UI experience in Spinnaker, Netflix's continuous delivery platform, to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience for our developers and engineers. Collaborate with product management, product designers, backend engineers, and UI specialists to define and refine the user experience for our continuous delivery platform, ensuring that it meets the needs of our users and aligns with our company goals. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and use cases for continuous delivery, and use this information to inform your design and development decisions. Develop web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in these areas. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of our codebase, ensuring that it is maintainable, scalable, and efficient. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong relational skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders. Experience building web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a strong understanding of front-end development principles and best practices. Passion for user experience and a keen eye for improving UIs, with a portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills and experience in this area.
