Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for:


Designing, developing, and maintaining web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and AWS
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs
Ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of our applications and systems
Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and other team members
Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and applying that knowledge to improve our systems and processes


Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:


A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
Strong knowledge of Java, Python, and AWS, with experience in designing and developing scalable and secure applications
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience with Agile development methodologies, with a focus on iterative and incremental development


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:


Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with cloud-based services, such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway
Strong understanding of security principles and practices, with experience in implementing secure applications and systems
Experience with testing and quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing and continuous integration
