About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our web and cloud application development team. As a full stack software engineer at Walmart, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure web and cloud-based applications that meet the needs of our customers and business stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design solutions, and implement features that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable and secure web and cloud-based applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and JavaScript. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design solutions, and implement features that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement APIs, data models, and other technical components of our applications. Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets our coding standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of applications to ensure that they meet our quality and security standards. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web and cloud application development and apply this knowledge to improve our applications and services. Provide technical guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders as needed. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in full stack software development, with a focus on web and cloud application development. Strong knowledge of Java, Python, and JavaScript programming languages. Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure. Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications We are looking for candidates who have the following qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins or Docker. Experience with cloud-based databases, such as MongoDB or Cassandra. Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
