**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer, Platform to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
**Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our business operations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs
* Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics
* Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems
* Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources and load it into our data warehouses and data lakes
* Develop and maintain data visualization tools to support business decision-making
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data-driven models and algorithms
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our data systems are optimized for performance and scalability
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
* Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala
* Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
* Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Apache Hive
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
* Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
* Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
* Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible
* Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
