Key Responsibilities Provide senior-level programming expertise in the development of advanced applications using Django/Python, ensuring alignment with business goals and corporate procedures. Assess and recommend the adoption of new technologies and frameworks to drive innovation and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, enhance, and maintain both front-end and back-end systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality. Develop intuitive and visually appealing web interfaces using HTML, CSS, React, and JavaScript to deliver an exceptional user experience. Work on REST APIs to facilitate efficient data transfer and system interoperability. Handle complex projects with minimal supervision, utilizing advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions. Adhere to legal change management practices to maintain infrastructure integrity. Address end-users' needs and support tickets expeditiously, diagnosing and resolving technical issues and escalating to Business Support when necessary. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess: Knowledge of full-stack development, with a strong understanding of API-driven backend development in Node.js and Django Python framework. Proficiency in front-end frameworks, particularly React, with a good grasp of React components, states, ContextAPI, Reducers, React Refresh, and React tooling. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, callbacks, and DOM concepts. Experience with Python and its backend framework Django, including Django views, models, migrations, and database relations. Knowledge of creating RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF) for communication between the front-end and back-end. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. Understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration, and deployment. You can qualify for this role through: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, combined with 3 years of experience in programming or a related area. Alternatively, 5 years of experience in programming or a related area. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, having the following qualifications can be advantageous: A graduate degree in Software Engineering or a related field. 2 years of experience in computer programming or a related field. Experience with machine learning skills. Advanced Django and Python experience. Strong React experience.
