Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Fleet Analytics team at arenaflex. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining complex software systems that leverage the vast amounts of data generated by our products. You will work closely with stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy software applications that drive business value, improve customer experiences, and enable data-driven decision making. Key Responsibilities Work with stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain complex software systems that leverage tool data at arenaflex Provide guidance to the data engineering and data science community on best practices for software development, data analysis, and data visualization Collaborate with engineers to drive the adoption of software applications and tools Write reproducible data analysis code using modern open-source technologies Summarize and effectively communicate data analysis assumptions and results to stakeholders Build data pipelines to optimize the performance and accuracy of analysis work across the company Design and implement metrics, software applications, and tools that enable engineers to self-serve their data insights Write clean, tested, and maintainable code that can be extended by other software engineers Essential Qualifications 7+ years of software development experience in a related field Strong skills in Python, SQL, and data processing engines like Apache Spark Experience with data science tools such as Pandas, Numpy, R, Matlab, and Octave Experience building data pipelines, web applications, and machine learning models in a professional environment A strong foundation in statistics and data analysis Experience building data visualizations and communicating complex data insights to stakeholders Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills to help refine problem statements and determine how to solve them with available data and first principles Preferred Qualifications Strong skills in Scala and distributed computing (e.g., HDFS, Spark, Presto) Experience with DevOps tools such as Linux, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes Experience with complex hardware systems and continuous integration and continuous development Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
