Day-to-Day Responsibilities The Match Recommendation Platform team plays a critical role in matching job seekers with employers. We own Indeed's platform for delivering candidate recommendations to employers, serving millions of requests per day to power many products across Indeed. As a Full Stack Software Engineer on our team, your responsibilities will include: Designing and building large-scale, performant, and robust systems that deliver great matches to employers Architecting new solutions and validating them through A/B testing Participating in code reviews and design reviews in the team to maintain high standards Supporting your own applications during business hours Making data-driven decisions, utilizing our analytics systems Collaborating daily with colleagues from many job functions: software engineers, product managers, data scientists, product scientists, and UX designers Working on projects that involve members in and out of your own team Mentoring other engineers Requirements and Qualifications We're excited about candidates who have: 3+ years of software engineering experience Experience programming in Java, Kotlin, or a similar programming language Experience working on large-scale, high-performance, and resilient systems Great communication and collaboration skills A willingness to learn and take on new challenges Essential Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong software engineering skills, with experience in Java, Kotlin, or a similar programming language Experience with large-scale, high-performance systems, and a understanding of how to build robust and scalable systems Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams A passion for learning and taking on new challenges, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and frameworks Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Indeed, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
