Job Overview In this critical position, you will have the chance to work with blithequark's Art, Design, and Engineering teams to analyze workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and challenges in the development process. Your expertise will be instrumental in generating candidate solutions, weighing tradeoffs, and implementing selected answers to enhance team performance and game quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting, developing, and maintaining blithequark's current set of engine-specific and custom tools, as well as building and guiding custom asset pipelines to support the growth of proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and platforms. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify inefficiencies and elaborate areas for improvement in the development technique across disciplines Maintain, extend, and support present development tools and gear Build and guide custom asset pipelines to enhance workflow efficiency Grow blithequark's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures to stay ahead in the industry Collaborate with the team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, and implement selected answers to real-world problems Assist in the adoption of new solutions and technologies by the team, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to the development process Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong passion for empowering others to do their best work, as well as experience with the overall device lifecycle, including coming across issues, comparing potential answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness. You should also enjoy working with custom standalone gear and growing gear that can be utilized by many game development disciplines.
