We are now seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our self-service application used by promoters to create and manage their advertising campaigns. Job Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Promotion Supervisor association team. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a key role in building, improving, and maintaining our self-service application, as well as collaborating with other teams on integrations with core services responsible for ad pacing, targeting, and selection. You will apply your knowledge and skills to deliver scalable, performant, efficient, and testable software that meets the highest standards of quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain large-scale software applications using a range of programming languages and technologies, including HTML, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript Write and review code and tests to ensure high-quality software delivery Participate in a weekly rotating on-call support plan to ensure timely resolution of issues and minimize downtime Read and interpret requirements documentation from Product and translate into implementation tickets Review, learn, and report on software and system designs in a high-throughput, low-latency microservices environment Improve systems' observability with proper metrics, monitors, and alerts Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or significant work experience in software development 3+ years of software development experience, with a focus on full-stack or front-end development Strong desire to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams and systems Sense of ownership and accountability for the tasks delivered by your team and division Passion for mentoring, learning, and adapting to a fast-paced and dynamic environment Empathy and level-headed optimism Unique perspective and experience Proficiency in HTML, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript Experience with Java Obvious problem-solving skills Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience with non-relational database technologies, such as DynamoDB Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Disney Entertainment Association, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
