Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Income and Planning Technology team within our Innovation group. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data engineering solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across Blithequark. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines, leveraging cloud technologies and data analytics tools. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and maintain analytics solutions that provide actionable insights. Develop data migration and data engineering solutions using cloud products and services, such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Databricks. Perform various aspects of the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering, ingestion, readiness, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployment, and utilization. Provide technical leadership and collaborate within a team environment, working independently and as part of a DevOps team that owns and supports their product. Implement batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies and drive the development of coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines. Mentor others on technical and domain skills to create multi-functional teams. Requirements Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training. 3 years of programming experience in solution development using agile, DevOps, and working in a product model that includes planning, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions. 3 years of data analysis experience using SQL. Proficiency in a combination of development, operations, and support experience in several of the following tools/platforms: Scripting: Python, JavaScript, Unix, SQL Data Platforms: Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake Azure Data Explorer Azure Cloud Technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Azure Functions CI/CD: GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform BI Analysis Tool Stack - Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Denodo, and Grafana Data Warehousing: DataStage, Informatica Data Governance and Security: Informatica Axon and EDC, BigID Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of programming experience in solution development using agile, DevOps, and working in a product model that includes planning, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions. 3+ years of data analysis experience using SQL. 3+ years of full-stack development experience, ideally in Azure. 3+ years of cloud development and data lake experience (favor Microsoft Azure) including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, ADX, ASA, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI. Aviation Industry Experience. Proficiency with the Azure technology stack for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing, curation, and making utilization layers. Mastery in providing functional direction within the Azure Local cloud services. Azure Development Track Certification (preferred). JavaScript Certification (preferred).
