**Job Description**
careerzynith is searching for highly skilled and motivated software engineers to join our team of experts in big data engineering and cloud application development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as Hadoop, Big Data, Information Science/ML, Python, SQL, UNIX, and Shell Scripting.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Creates and tests software, including continuous refactoring of code and drives persistent improvement in code structure and quality
* Essential focus is spent writing code, API specs, directing code audits and testing in continuous runs or doing proof of concepts/automation tools
* Applies observation and other methods to quick track ideas
* Capabilities as a core member of a lightweight team driving Client story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software applications, testing and builds automation tools
* Handles a specific stage/item or as part of a unique asset pool assigned to projects based on interest and business need
* Finds amazing opportunities to adopt innovative advances
* Typifies rebel with a cause mindset by looking beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities
* Deal of work with careerzynith is molded upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to relevant regulations and guidelines
**Essential Capabilities**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of programming development experience and leading teams of developers and scrum teams
* 2+ years of active experience working with Hive, Hadoop, and PySpark
* Demonstrated Datawarehousing concepts
* Knowledge of Financial detailing ecosystem is an added advantage
* 2+ years of demonstrated expertise in Big Data Engineering/Information Warehousing using Big Data technologies will be an added advantage
* Master on Distributed environment
* Active involvement in programming using Core Java or Python/Scala
* Master on Hadoop and HBase Design and its functioning guidelines
* Involved expertise on writing and understanding refined SQL (Hive/PySpark-dataframes), optimizing joins while handling massive amounts of data
* Experience in UNIX shell scripting
* Ability to design and develop advanced Data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing
* Should have expertise in analysis, design, development, testing, and execution of system applications
* Shown ability to create and document technical and functional specifications and investigate software and system processing streams
**Preferred Capabilities**
* Knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP/AWS, building Microservices and flexible solutions, will be a benefit
* 2+ years of experience in planning and building solutions using Kafka streams or queues
* Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket and using CI/CD pipelines
* Experience with NoSQL i.e., HBase, Couchbase, MongoDB is great to have
* Excellent technical and logical capability
* Great interpersonal skills
* Brilliant Project management skills
