Job Summary We're seeking compassionate and skilled Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representatives to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, helping patients and their families understand their medical bills, answer questions, and resolve account balances. Key Responsibilities: Utilize empathy and excellent communication skills to help patients and their families understand complex medical bills and provide options for resolution. Deliver outstanding customer service and collaborate with patients to create affordable payment plans and process payments. Accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems, demonstrating computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail. Support fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus. Continuously improve with supportive coaching, feedback from managers and team leads, and ongoing training. Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families. Proficient in computer software and technology, with experience with CRM systems and software applications. Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare billing, medical terminology, or a related field. Certification in customer service, healthcare, or a related field (e.g., HCA, CCA, or similar). Bilingual or multilingual skills. Skills and Competencies: Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Empathy and compassion when interacting with patients and their families. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
