Key Responsibilities As a Remote Customer Service Agent at Blithequark, you will be responsible for: Listening to customers, understanding their needs, and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner Utilizing systems and technology to complete account management tasks and ensure accurate data entry Recognizing sales opportunities and applying sales skills to upgrade products and services Explaining and positioning products and processes with customers, highlighting key features and benefits Appropriately escalating customer dissatisfaction to the managerial team, ensuring prompt resolution Ensuring first call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling, reducing the need for follow-up calls Candidate Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must: Be 18 years of age or older Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Have excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills Be able to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute) Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Have a basic understanding of Windows operating system Be highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality Have the ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues Possess an aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation Be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious) Be able to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage Have a strong team orientation and customer focus Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers What We Offer At Blithequark, we believe that hard work should pay off. Physical Requirements This job operates in a professional office environment, although you will be working from home. As a Remote Customer Service Agent, you will be largely sedentary and will be required to: Sit and stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset Operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer Occasionally move about the home to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds Conditions of Employment All Blithequark locations: Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based Subject to the program and location of the position: Must be willing to submit up to a Level II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint.
