Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.
Process prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets, and verifying medication accuracy.
Interact with customers and patients, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Develop strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy operations, including inventory management, stock ordering, and cash handling.
Assist with the administration of medical services, including the collection and labeling of blood/urine samples, and the coordination of clinical services.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality, medication safety, and pharmacy operations.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTC) or equivalent certification.
Minimum of 6 months of experience in a retail or pharmacy setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in pharmacy software systems.
