Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Master Planning - Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Southwest. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing projects related to water and wastewater master planning, hydraulic analyses, and infrastructure development. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us deliver high-quality projects that meet the needs of our clients and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Master Planning - Senior Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:


Planning, scheduling, and tracking milestones, tasks, and activities to ensure project success
Supporting the development and execution of hydraulic models and documenting results in reports or technical memoranda
Performing research and analytical tasks related to water, recycled water, and wastewater master plans, urban water management plans, asset management plans, water supply assessments, risk assessments, flow monitoring reports, and other related projects
Attending meetings to discuss project progress and results with clients and stakeholders
Actively managing assigned projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
Assisting with business development activities, including proposal development and client outreach
Archiving final deliverable documents, including reports, models, and associated tools


Technical Expertise

As a Master Planning - Senior Project Manager, you will possess a deep understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure development and management, including:


Experience with all aspects of public water project delivery, including water/wastewater treatment and advanced water treatment plants
Experience in water pumping stations and sewer lift stations
Experience in all types of conveyance design, including pipelines, flow control facilities, turnouts, pressure reducing stations, metering stations, and related facilities


Education and Experience Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:


A Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or equivalent
A minimum of 10 years of related experience in water and wastewater master planning tasks, including sewer I/I analysis, flow factor development and projections, business risk calculations, alternative analysis, cost estimations, alternatives scenario analysis, fire flow analysis, and other related projects
Licensed Professional Engineer in California
Experience with hydraulic modeling tools, including Autodesk modeling products (InfoWater, InfoWater Pro, InfoSWMM, InfoSewer, Aquanuity) and Bentley products (WaterGEMS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD)
Experience with ArcGIS Pro and integration with Innovyze software
Excellent technical writing skills for use in development of master plans, studies, engineering reports, and related technical documents
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Highly self-motivated, able to anticipate and initiate subsequent project tasks, working independently or with minimal instruction
Able to work efficiently within a predetermined project budget and schedule


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:


Experience with data analysis software, including R, Tableau, Power BI, and scripting languages, such as SQL, Python
Experience with Asset Management software, including InfoAsset Planner


Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:


A salary range of $180,000 to $220,000 per year, depending on experience
